ABOUT ME

Jordin, a young artist from Hiram Georgia, attended the University of Georgia as a Drawing and Painting major to complete her BFA at the Lamar Dodd School of Art. She makes work that is inspired by watching morning cartoons through her childhood. She creates colorful illustrations of characters that are inspired by the unique personalities that surround her on a day-to-day basis. She curates her vivid characters through this nostalgia, but it is very much so inspired by her small family of 5, including her herself, her 3 siblings, and her hardworking mother. Each of them plays a role in how her characters are influenced in some of her images, and with this constant presence of family and animation, she is able to keep drawing as fast as her mind can imagine. Jordin has also been a part of the African Student Union Art Exhibition, the Zeta Psi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Virtual Art Auction, and has completed creating works for the 2022 Capstone Exhibition at the Lamar Dodd School of Art.
